Bravespace Nutrition isn’t in network with any insurance companies, but many of our clients get out-of-network reimbursement for nutrition counseling.

Although we do not file insurance claims for out of network insurances, we can provide you with the documentation necessary for you to file your claim with your insurance company.

All nutrition counseling appointments are considered “fee-for-service” which means that appointment fees are due at the time of service. We accept credit card and HSA/FSA cards. A receipt can be provided upon your request for all services.

*Note that many clients who live in Seattle or the greater WA area and work for companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, or Starbucks, generally get 65-100% of their visits covered by insurance for out of network reimbursement. There are also MANY other companies who provide really great out of network reimbursement too, so please call your insurance company to inquire.

Please see below for a downloadable script to call your insurance company to inquire about out of network nutrition counseling coverage.

Sessions with Katherine are $350 for an initial 60 minute session and $300 for 50 minute follow-up sessions.

To determine out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance company click here to download a script that you can use to call your insurance company to see if you have coverage for nutrition counseling and/or eating disorder care , if applicable.

If you’re unsure if you fit criteria for an eating disorder, and you haven’t received a diagnosis, ask your insurance company if they cover “OSFED” (other specified feeding and eating disorder).
